Reply speed on messages

The median time to the supplier's first reply to a buyer message over the last 90 days. Unanswered conversations are included as the slowest cases. Conversations newer than 48 hours are excluded because a reply is still timely. Each buyer organization contributes one observation regardless of how many conversations it opens, so one buyer cannot determine the indicator alone. The available history of buyer organizations messaging this supplier over the last 90 days is too limited to calculate a median. This does not mean the supplier is slow.

Response to quotation requests

The proportion of requests for quotation the supplier answered with a quote, among requests it was invited to over the last 90 days. Declining a request counts as not sending a quote. Invitations newer than 7 days and requests never opened to suppliers are excluded. Each buyer organization contributes one observation regardless of how many invitations it sends. The available history of buyer organizations inviting this supplier over the last 90 days is too limited to calculate a proportion. A new supplier that has not received invitations is not a supplier refusing to respond.

Time on the platform

Time since the organization registered on the platform. This is not the age of the factory or its market experience.

These indicators measure supplier behaviour on the platform only: reply speed and sending quotes. The platform may retain payment and delivery data or evidence supplied by the parties to a request; its presence is not independent verification, and these indicators do not guarantee quality or deadlines. Message and request counts are not published, to protect buyer and supplier privacy.

Review eligibility is based on this supplier's quote being selected in a sourcing round on the platform. The platform may retain payment and delivery data or evidence supplied by the parties to a request, but its presence does not mean independent platform verification or a transaction guarantee. Each buyer organization contributes one observation to the average regardless of how many reviews it submits, so one buyer cannot determine a supplier's rating. The available ratings are too limited to calculate an average.
